Covid-19 Response
Adventure Tails YXE is all about your beloved pets and making sure they are happy and healthy. But this part is just for you! The health, safety, and security of you and your family are equally important to us. Now that new restrictions have been implemented in Saskatchewan we are adjusting to offer the safest possible care.
**Be advised that, at this time, Adventure Tails YXE will no longer be requiring it's team to wear masks, sanitize between calls, or sanitize your home beyond normal cleaning measures. If you would feel more comfortable with us wearing a mask, please let your usual walker, sitter, or Meet & Greet team member know. We will happily comply! Thank you!**
Meet & Greet
Prior to any meet & greet, Adventure Tails YXE employees will sanitize their hands between their car and your home. If the meet & greet is to take place in your home the employee will also be wearing a mask at first contact. This will need to be removed temporarily to meet the animal, as it is extremely important that your pet can see our face! Unless your animal is struggling with the mask, it will be kept on for the remainder of the meeting, and we will attempt to maintain social distancing.
Sit & Stay/Check In
Prior to entering your home, the employee will sanitize their hands. When Adventure Tails YXE is in your home every attempt will be made to keep surface contact to a minimum. Please provide clean linens for the employee staying in your home and, should you prefer it, they will wash them prior to leaving. The employee will bring their own pillow. Depending on your comfort level with having us in your home, the employee will sanitize touch points on the way out on the final day, at your discretion.
Walking
Prior to entering your home, the employee will sanitize their hands. When Adventure Tails YXE is in your home every attempt will be made to keep surface contact to a minimum. Please have your preferred leash ready along with anything else needed for the walk, such as booties, collars, etc. Depending on your comfort level with having us in your home, any surfaces touched will be sanitized by the employee on the way out, at your discretion. During the walk, social distancing will be maintained when possible and interaction with other people and animals prohibited.
We accept and understand there are inherent risks in offering services at this time, on both sides, and we are committed to doing everything possible to keep everyone safe. We appreciate you doing the same. Please check in with yourself prior to any services and if you are experiencing any symptoms please let us know so we can proceed safely. We are all in this together!
